Our Objective
To establish a sustainable framework for the annual participation by US Armed Forces teams in the newly created RAAM Military Category and field the first team for the 2011 race.
Our Mission
To compete in the world’s most respected and longest running annual endurance event to commemorate the sacrifices of all those who have served their country, generate charitable contributions for the Wounded Warrior Project, and make a positive contribution to military recruiting and public relations.
Our Vision
Establish a benchmark that creates a metric for all future Military Teams to follow while challenging all services both domestic and international in both competition on the bike and charitable causes in the RAAM Military Category. The metric will be a ratio of race finish time and the amount of charitable contributions specific to the cause and as a result of the RAAM event.
Our Goals
- To compete in the 8-person team category and win the first ever Armed Forces Cup with the best competitive time.
- Generate charitable contributions to benefit a portfolio of wounded warrior charities which for 2010 is the Wounded Warrior Project.
- Make a positive contribution to military public relations.
